iCAN Statement: #stophate

The Insurance Cultural Awareness Network (iCAN) is deeply saddened by the recent, senseless attacks and riots affecting communities across the UK. The violence and unrest, particularly targeting the Muslim community, are shocking, disgraceful, and exemplify why we must continue to voice and act against injustice.

As a network dedicated to multicultural inclusion, we will not accept any hate, prejudice, or violence against any culture, ethnicity, or background. At iCAN, we stand alongside our Muslim members, colleagues, and the broader community as allies in the fight against discrimination.

We will continue to use our platform to call out hate, violence, and any xenophobic attitudes and behaviours in an effort to help dismantle systemic racism, and implore our allies to be aware of the situation for their ethnic minority colleagues, and to check in on your team members at this time.

If you or anyone you know is looking for support, please get in touch.
