iCAN welcomes DWF as a Gold Sponsor for 2022/2023

We are delighted to announce that DWF is joining in September as the our second Gold Sponsor.

Coming in at the highest level of sponsorship highlights the strong commitment of DWF to enabling change and supporting multicultural inclusion across the insurance industry in the UK and more widely. DWF joins Marsh as the other iCAN Gold Sponsor for 2022.

DWF’s sponsorship will support a wide range of exciting initiatives planned by iCAN across 2022 and 2023, including speed mentoring and broader mentoring schemes, the iCAN Voice podcast series, the iCAN Apply recruitment platform, Coffee with the CEO, and a range of virtual and in person events for the 3,000+ members based around the UK and internationally.

In particular, focus will be sharing and highlighting legal aspects of Diversity Equity & Inclusion which more and more have been in the spotlight in recent years. In addition to broader market activity, iCAN will work together with DWF to continue to build and generate engagement in multicultural inclusion focused activities across their organization.

Ajay Mistry, iCAN Co-Chair said:

“We couldn’t be happier to have DWF join us as a gold sponsor. By having their support at the highest level, we can really strive to do a lot more for our 3,000+ members, and continue to successfully build and expand on the impact we have had over the last five years.”

Kishan Mangat, iCAN Co-Chair and Senior Associate at DWF said:

“I am in the unique position of being able to see the benefits from both sides. Being a part of the DWF organisation myself, I am very proud that my company is making this important commitment to driving DEI progress within the insurance industry. And for iCAN, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely together with DWF to create an impact more broadly across the insurance market when it comes to the inclusion of our multicultural and international colleagues.”

Sir Nigel Knowles, CEO at DWF Group Plc commented on the sponsorship with iCAN, saying:

"Diversity & Inclusion sits at the heart of our ESG strategy so we are delighted to support the great work that iCAN is doing in the insurance industry.

“As a business we understand that we have a responsibility to do more to tackle difficult issues by ensuring that we operate responsibly and contribute positively to a sustainable future for generations to come. Doing the right thing defines who we are and integrity is essential to everything we do."
