iCANConnect – Reverse Mentorship Workshop with LV=General Insurance

We are excited to announce our next iCANConnect session will be a practical workshop hosted by our friends at LV=General Insurance about the important topic of Reverse Mentoring.

Due to the nature of the topic and the practical elements featured in the workshop, we invite you to bring along your Heads of HR/Heads of D&I/Heads of Talent and Exec sponsors or anyone else in your organisation who would be interested in setting up a reverse mentoring scheme or has one in place already.

Reverse Mentoring Workshop - How to set up a successful program within your company and how to involve your senior leadership team

  • Date – Fri 16th September

  • Time – 12.00pm-1.30pm

  • Location – Virtual (Zoom link available for iCAN members)

LV= General Insurance set up a reverse mentoring programme in January 2021 between their Executive Committee and Race, Culture and Religion network members.

Join us to find out more about what reverse mentoring is and its benefits. LV=GI will be sharing their own experience of setting up a programme and how you can do this within your own organisation, plus we’ll hear from the mentors and mentees on the benefits and outcomes they’ve seen as result.

From this session you will hear:

  • What is reverse mentoring?

  • The benefits of reverse mentoring

  • LV=’s journey and how they overcame some of the practical issues to achieve success

  • How to work with your Senior Execs on this topic

  • What to do next once you’ve started

You will also be able to ask questions and share your own best practices!
