The Returners Programme is a targeted recruitment approach to hire experienced/talented individuals who have been on a career break of at least 2 years.

The programme offers:

  • A 6-month programme with the intention to offer a permanent role at the end

  • A buddy to help you successfully transition back to work

  • A Convex mentor to help guide and encourage

  • A Career Coaching programme to ensure you have ongoing support throughout the duration of the programme

They also offer training to their managers to ensure they understand the challenges facing a returner so Convex ensures you have the best possible experience as they recognise it can be a daunting time.

Who are Convex looking for?

Any ‘returners’ who are interested in continuing their career in Risk, Audit and Underwriting (Insurance). They are also looking for candidates who have strong skills in coding and analysing data or are just generally strong with numbers to work in their Stochastic Analytics team.

Further to this, Convex’s Data team would love to hear from you if you have strong communication and prioritisation skills and have a basic understanding of coding and happy to learn more.

We asked Group HR Director Claire Ball, why would someone want to work at Convex?

  • provide a place of calm to help manage anxiety, stress or any requirements due to all types of neuro-diversity

  • enable our new mums returning from maternity leave to express and store milk, using the equipment provided by Convex, in a private space

  • give anyone who needs a quiet space to cool down (fans are available in the wellness room)

What is your top tip for those interested?
