MatBlas confirmed as iCAN Bronze Sponsor!

iCAN is proud to announce that Matblas has confirmed sponsorship at our Bronze level.

This sponsorship is a testament to MatBlas’ commitment to supporting ethnic minorities and international talents as well as contributing to the UK insurance industry becoming more ethnically diverse.

iCAN and MatBlas’ partnership will aim at promoting MatBlas’ culture, roles, and DEI initiatives and we are excited to be working with Ana Mata along with the MatBlas team!

More about  MatBlas

MatBlas are a specialist pricing and underwriting management consultancy that works with clients who want to create consistency and efficiency in their underwriting and pricing workflow.

While most actuarial consultancies focus on high level aspects of the business (capital modelling, risk management and reserving) often involving C-level executives, MatBlas have chosen to work at the forefront with the producers of the business: underwriters, managing agents and brokers facing the daily challenges of a highly competitive insurance market.

The sponsorship

MatBlas’ sponsorship will support a wide range of iCAN’s ongoing and newly launched initiatives. These initiatives include our INspire self-serving mentoring platform and iCANConnect, a safe space for D&I leaders across the insurance industry, as well as our iCAN Apply Jobs Board which aims to give more access for our members to opportunities within the insurance industry.

In addition to these three main initiatives, the sponsorship will support the continuation of the Coffee with the CEO series and a range of virtual and in-person events for our 5,000+ members based in the UK and internationally.

Ana Mata, Managing Director and Actuary, MatBlas said:

“At MatBlas, we are thrilled to support iCAN's mission to champion multicultural inclusion and create meaningful change in the insurance industry. Embracing diversity is at the core of who we are, and we believe that by working alongside iCAN, we can help drive a more inclusive environment for all professionals.

“Together, we look forward to advocating for greater representation and supporting initiatives that celebrate the power of diverse perspectives within our industry."
