iCAN Connect - Communicating with Impact - How to Speak so Others Listen

SPECIALIST ONLINE E VENT FOR EMPLOYEE NETWORK GROUPS, AND HR, DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION, AND TALENT TEAMS!

Join iCAN Connect for Communicating with Impact - How to Speak so Others Listen – an interactive online workshop tailored for Network Leaders, Heads of HR, DEI, Talent and their respective teams within the insurance industry.

Within your roles, you often need to talk publicly about your network, challenges, issues and the DEI Agenda as a whole.

Whether it be though opening events, standing on stage or even in 121 conversations, communication is paramount. And when learning how to effectively influence those around you, it is essential to become positively conscious of your physical, vocal, and verbal delivery.

When we communicate unconsciously, our message can become cluttered and unclear.

In this 90 minute training session, leading UK Voice and Public Speaking Expert, Cath Baxter will guide you step by step in delivering your messages with compelling clarity.

During this interactive training session, participants will learn, practise, and reflect on key actions that will enhance their physicality, their voice and words to create real control over professional impact during important communications.

This special event will be support DEI professionals across the industry in thinking more around how we communicate verbally, and how this can have a big impact to their firms. This event is not just about what to say, but learning tips and tools for how you communicate in all aspects of your career.

This is a workshop you don't want to miss!

About iCAN CONNECT

Designed to create a safe space for DEI network leaders across the insurance sector, iCAN Connect was developed in July 2020 to connect network leads and heads of DEI, HR and Talent to discuss key industry issues and best practices.

iCAN Connect facilitates conversation and discussions around major issues within DEI and allows participants the opportunity to share their own firm-wide initiatives and learn from others.

The group now stands at just under 400 strong from across the industry.

We believe that sharing information and encouraging dialogue helps create better, more diverse businesses and a more inclusive sector for all.
