iCAN are proud to be part of Dive In Festival 2022 - Registration Open Now!

For the eighth year in a row, iCAN are proud to be involved with the Dive In Festival - the leading festival for DE&I in the insurance industry.

Dive In 2022’s theme is #BraverCultures, with the festival focusing on both online and offline culture and exploring the conversation about how to build a workspace that truly allows people to feel psychologically safe, valued, respected and free to express themselves authentically.

Attendees will walk away with a richer understanding of why D&I is so important and some tips for how we and our organisations can build braver cultures through progressive action.

The global event will run for three days from 27 – 29 September 2022 and you can register for free here.

iCAN event – ‘Fit In or Get Out: Where should company and employee cultures meet’

As a sponsor of this year’s Dive In, we are organising our own event during the festival.

The ‘Fit In or Get Out’ event will feature a debate and discussion on career advancement and talent acquisition around cultural fit.

The debate will centre around the 'Bring our whole self to work' mantra, which is now commonplace throughout the industry. There is growing scrutiny by regulators of diversity and inclusion within the insurance industry. The question arises whether you can have accelerated career advancement without adhering to the ‘Cultural Fit’ and avoiding unconscious bias that undoubtedly exists within the workplace.

We have invited eminent individuals and professionals who have risen to the top of their chosen fields to present arguments for both sides of this debate.

Join us on Wednesday 28 September at Markel Office, 20 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3AZ

17:00 – 18:30

Speaking about iCAN’s involvement in this year’s Dive In Festival, iCAN Co-Chair Ajay Mistry said:

“We are delighted to once again be part of the annual Dive In Festival, which does a great job of progressing the conversation about diversion and inclusion in the insurance sector.

“We are proud to have worked with Dive In since the festival began in 2015, and are looking forward to hosting what promises to be a lively debate around the idea of ‘Cultural Fit’, unconscious bias and career advancement.”
