iCAN Statement: #StopAsianHate

Speed Mentoring Images (1).png

The Insurance Cultural Awareness Network (‘iCAN’) are deeply saddened with the recent, senseless attacks on the Asian American and Pacific Islander community across the United States. The unspeakable tragedy in Atlanta, including the murder of six Asian-American women, is shocking, disgraceful and an example of why we must continue to voice and act on injustice.

As a network dedicated to multicultural inclusion, we will not accept any hate, prejudice or violence against any culture, ethnicity or background. At iCAN, we stand alongside our Asian members, colleagues, and the global Asian community as allies in the fight against discrimination. We will continue to use our platform to call out hate, violence and any xenophobic attitudes and behaviours in an effort to help dismantle systemic racism.

If you or anyone you know are looking for support, please get in touch or for more information, go to Stop AAPI Hate.

Sincerely,

The iCAN Steering Committee
