Client Finance Assistant

To assist in the maintenance of Asta Underwriting Management Limited (AUML) and its (7) client ledgers, bank reconciliations and cashflow management.

Key skills required

Highly numerate with the ability to produce consistently accurate work to tight deadlines

A flexible team player with a proactive attitude

Ability to progress issues on own initiative, but sufficient judgement to know when to refer to manager.

Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Key technical skills, knowledge and professional qualifications required

1 Good standard of education preferably with accounting experience (AAT, or studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

2 Solid understanding of general management accounting principles

3 A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages preferably SUN would be advantageous
