Start Date: Friday 28th October 2022
Training: 6-8 weeks paid training.
Working Pattern: Shift work working between 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 8:30 – 4pm Saturday 2 in every 5 Saturdays

Salary £20,500 increasing to £21,000 in increments on completion of our 12 month pay progression scheme.

As a Customer Service Consultant you will be taking inbound calls from our customers who have queries about their current Home insurance policies, renewals and any other ad-hoc questions relating to their accounts. The purpose of your role is to “Understand people + simplify insurance” for every customer, and your goal is to contribute towards the achievement of the overall success of Ageas.

Main duties and responsibilities of a Customer Service Consultant:
• Engage with customers via the telephone to provide a high-quality customer service and discuss their home or motor insurance needs.
• Renewals and retention – discussing existing customers’ renewals and using your customer service skills to help them make the right decision regarding renewing their insurance policy.
• Taking ownership for the customer journey and problem solving when dealing with customer complaints and queries.
• Compliance with all company and Industry regulations.
• Ensuring you are treating customers fairly and acting in a professional manner.
Skills and experience you will need in your Customer Service Consultant role:
• Previous customer service experience would be an advantage. Whether you have gained experience within retail, hospitality, or a contact centre.
• Positive attitude with a flexible and resilient approach to change.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the capability to write complex letters in line with company standards.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment.
• Ability to use own initiative when prioritising your workload and ensure that you take a proactive approach when settling claims.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when communicating with customers both written and verbally.
• A natural ability to manage conflict with an investigative mind in order to solve customer enquiries
