We have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team here at Markel UK, providing maternity cover and represents a great opportunity for an experienced Digital Manager looking to take the next stage in their career.

What you’ll be doing:
Digital Manager to support the delivery of the Marketing plan
Collaborating with the Marketing Director and Digital teams to ensure the Marketing objectives outlined in the plan are delivered
Ensuring the channels, technology and approach reflect the key Marketing messages and are implemented in a timely manner within budgetary controls
Being an effective member of the Marketing team, working closely with the National and International colleagues and external vendors to deliver the plan
Project and team management, vendor relations and interdependent teamwork
Quarterly and annual planning to support the delivery of the digital Marketing plan.
Working and handling third party agencies and suppliers across the digital portfolio to deliver the Marketing plan and business objectives
Attending key partner meetings, build and demonstrate technical product knowledge to deliver excellent customer experience and brand representation
Supporting the reporting and tracking of digital activity and measurement of Return On Investment
Striving to deliver excellence across all activities
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience working as a Digital Manager - UK insurance is favourable, but not essential, with a solid understanding of multi-channel digital marketing activity
Ability to lead the full project life span
Experience in sourcing and managing external vendor support in direct support of Marketing plan projects
Stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines and work on a number of projects at once
Experience managing effective use of a dedicated budget
