Ageas confirmed as iCAN Bronze Sponsor for 2023

iCAN is proud to announce that Ageas are renewing their sponsorship for 2023 at Bronze level.

This sponsorship is a testament to Ageas’s commitment to support ethnic minorities and international talents as well as contributing to the UK insurance industry becoming more ethnically diverse.

iCAN and Ageas have previously partnered on promoting Ageas’s culture, roles, and DEI initiatives in 2022 and we are excited to be working with Emma and the team at Ageas again!

More about Ageas

Ageas are one of the largest car and home insurers in the UK and part of an international group headquartered in Brussels. They have over 2,000 employees in the UK and hold the Top Employer award.

Ageas are also proud that they were awarded Personal Lines Insurer of the Year at the British Insurance Awards in both 2021 and 2022, as well as the 2022 Insurance Times’ Diversity & Inclusion award.

The Ageas values are “Dare, Care, Deliver, Share”.

Being “Brave” is part of their Dare value along with “Championing Change and Improvement” and being “Agile”. They aim to create an environment of trust, providing open and constructive feedback, encouraging people to be curious, confront myths and continue to ask, “What if?” and “Why not?”.

The sponsorship

Ageas’s sponsorship will support a wide range of iCAN’s ongoing and newly launched initiatives for 2023. The initiatives include our INspire self-serving mentoring platform and iCANConnect, a safe space for D&I leaders across the insurance industry, as well as our newly launched iCANApply Jobs Board which aims to give more access for our members to opportunities within the insurance industry.

In addition to these three main initiatives, the sponsorship will support the continuation of the iCANVoice Podcast, Coffee with the CEO series, and a range of virtual and in-person events for the 3,500+ members based in the UK and internationally.

Emma Francis, Head of Inclusion at Ageas UK said:

“Ageas are delighted to renew our partnership with iCAN as we really value being part of a great community that allows us to exchange knowledge and learn about best practice approaches to diversity and inclusion”.
