iCAN welcomes Aviva as Bronze Sponsor for 2023

We are beyond thrilled to share that Aviva is now officially joining iCAN as a Bronze Sponsor for 2023.

This sponsorship is effective immediately and will run until the end of 2023.

We believe that diversity and inclusivity play a vital role in the workplace and we're excited to work together with Aviva to implement our initiatives that help promote cultural understanding and awareness within the UK insurance industry.

More about Aviva

We are the UK’s leading insurance, wealth and retirement business. Our purpose is to be with you today for a better tomorrow.

There’s more to Aviva than insurance, savings and pensions. We’re on a mission to make a difference in everything we do.

We’re acting on climate change and helping others do the same. We’re building stronger communities and investing in a future we all want to live in. And we’re changing the way we do business by championing everything from the living wage to women leaders.

The fact we’ve been around for more than 320 years speaks volumes about our experience. And a place in the FTSE 100 says something about our commercial success. What we’re most proud of, however, is the reputation we’ve developed over that time. And how it’s helped us grow to become the inclusive, diverse and forward-thinking business we are today.

The sponsorship

Aviva’s sponsorship will support a wide range of iCAN’s ongoing and newly launched initiatives for 2023. The initiatives include our INspire self-serving mentoring platform and iCANConnect, a safe space for D&I leaders across the insurance industry, as well as our newly launched iCANApply Jobs Board which aims to give more access for our members to opportunities within the insurance industry.

In addition to these three main initiatives, the sponsorship will support the continuation of the iCANVoice Podcast, Coffee with the CEO series, and a range of virtual and in-person events for the 3,500+ members based in the UK and internationally.

Anna Dilku and Maiko Adachi, Co-Chairs of Aviva Origins said:

“We’re delighted to partner with iCAN to drive both cultural and social mobility inclusion through Aviva Origins this year. Together, we’re committed to embracing our differences, improving opportunities and creating impactful change at Aviva”.
